New guy, couple questions

Hi all, the wife and I have been into TSD rallying for a while now, but getting kind of fed up. We are very competitive but also like the added fun factor of doing TSD in one of our "classics", a '76 Triumph TR6 or a '65 Volvo 1800S. When we do actual competitive TSD rallies with SCCA clubs it's all Camries and other mundane crap. On the other hand, competitive vintage rallies would require us to take out a second mortgage to run one, like the Colorado Grand or (my dream) the Mille Miglia. It looks like, although none of the cars I've seen entered are older than 2015, at least they're slightly more interesting than daily grocery-getters. Ergo....

1. What's the format to the rallies? Is it TSD? Or just "here's the endpoint, see you tonight"? Is there a copy of a route book online anywhere?

2. Can we participate in a shortened version of the rallies? I've got a full time job as well as being in the AF Reserve, and we have two kids. Even that one vacation day (The Friday of the rally) my wife would need to burn to allow me to do my Reserve stuff to stay current. We've never taken a vacation unless it's strictly fallen on a Sat+Sun. Is a late meet-up with the group in the cards?

Thanks,
Darel

Scavenger Hunt type of Rally, some people are uber competitive and others just want to enjoy the drive. Look for the Ohio Valley Rally in October its just a weekend one.

Thanks for the reply. The Ohio rally would require us to take Friday off too. Looking for info on strictly weekend (Sat/Sun) rallies, or if it's OK to skip Friday and meet up with the group on Saturday?

We only currently do 2 Rallies a year, summer and fall. Summer rally is during the week and fall rally is Fri, Sat and Sunday.
