Well who is going to continue west from the end of the rally? Vegas, Pacific Ocean? Ideas we can post them here.

Greetings! Both of my teams will be continuing to the Pacific Ocean before we hit US 1 north to head home. We don't get all the way out east often so we are both doing a coast to coast since the start line is just a few hours to the Atlantic anyway. I wouldn't complain about stopping in Vegas at all, and I'm sure the other car wouldn't either. :shady: I can be more definite on plans here in a month or two. We still need to get car two rally ready. I hope plenty rally goers do continue to the Pacific, what a great photo that would make!

We plan on traveling up to Colorado Springs to spend the day. Probably visit the Garden of the Gods and
drive up Pikes Peak again. Then on to Rocky Mountain National Park. We were there a couple of years
ago and it was absolutely spectacular. Not sure where we will head from there but out at least another
week and maybe two weeks.

Team Classic Fanatics has been debating on driving straight out to California after the rally! I'd like to pass through Las Vegas and drive through Death Valley... Still debating on weather or not too. I guess it's all on wether or not we think our 87' shelby z will make it back to Connecticut after beating on it for a week, that is if it's still alive after running it on the pueblo motorsports track hahaha :shady:

I wish I had the time to continue on, but me and Liz have to get back. It will be a bucket list thing one day to do coast to coast, but would rather do it kind of on "our time".

Hank, Pike peak is like 40 minutes from the hotel, you don't know when you will ever get this close again. Plan to do it. Let liz drive some of the legs home so you can get some sleep buddy.

I may be up for a day or two travelling farther west before returning to Houston. Sounds like fun.
