De-tuned Cobalt engine at that. I guess we will see what the Regal GS brings with a 260HP 2.0L Turbo and a 6-speed manual

I owned a 94 Buick custom coupe for a few years. It had the 3600 cc engine but god damn it was pretty fast for a grandpa front wheel drive car. If memory serves, I beat a ricer car 1 time on my way to King of Prussia Hooters, and I had every seat occupied in my car. But I must say that the new turbo Regal is a real disappointment in my eyes. It should be a little faster than that. sad

The Regal GS is making 270HP and 295ft-lb from the Saab/Saturn/Cobalt 2.0L Turbo four. Not bad until you figure in how damn heavy the regal is.

The 1987 GNX should still easily beat it.
