I'll pedal it if needed. I'm not worried about breaking out but I often have trouble with a pro tree.

(That should scare all of you!)

I've never launched AWD at a strip before so I have no reference for when to launch on the tree, lol

I just hope my transmission keeps itself together.....

Being that it's just about the reaction times, I should just launch and then take it easy down the track. I'm not built that way though. If it means hauling the car home on a trailer, that's the way it's gonna be.

It was a good venue. Better then the two I usually race at here locally, although those are 1/4 mile. I'll take a clutch burning 9.5 for my best of the day.

Holy Crap. Just looked up the DA and it was over 4500 ft. while we were there! Makes me feel a little better about my 10.2. Corrected and converted, that would come out to around a 15.01 1/4 mile. Not too bad, for a 5900 lb+ race weight. LMAO. The truck usually does 14.7-14.9's, so with all that added weight and being heat soaked, I'm satisfied. Best RT was .589.

If you know about what time of day you ran, it's easy enough to get a good idea of what your DA was.

Yea but ya got a ton of passes. Some guys hit a ran. I had a blast there.
I just saw your DA post. Yea that air was horrible. The track was much better prepped than expected. I even did ok on the 20s loaded down with a passenger after 4 passes.
It was probably the best 1/8 mile track I have run.
The lights were goofy but it was a blast. I hope next year there is no rush to leave track outtings.

I was very impressed with the track prep, especially for a week day rental. I really thought my street tires never had a chance but once I walked it out I was able to put down enough power to blow out a control arm bushing

They let us do our thing and provided a good starting line. I knew the track elevation was 2000+ feet but never checked the DA that day. I feel a little better about my 8.2@91 now :)
